A distinguished workshop entitled “Handmade.”

Within the framework of the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura National University’s commitment to developing students’ artistic and creative skills and enhancing the aesthetic aspects of the university environment, the Faculty organized a distinguished workshop entitled “Handmade” on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Faculty premises.

The workshop was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura National University, and the leadership of Professor Dr. Raefa Refaat Allam, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.

The workshop was conducted with the participation of a group of talented students under the supervision of Dr. Mostafa Tag El-Molouk, Student Activities Coordinator at the Faculty. It aimed to discover and develop students’ artistic talents and to teach them various handicraft skills that foster innovation and productivity.

The workshop included a variety of hands-on activities that received strong engagement from participants, such as: drawing using diverse materials and colors; learning the basics of crochet and producing simple artistic models; designing and creating flowers using satin fabric; practical training in different types of hand embroidery; producing beadwork in innovative designs; and creating artistic models using ceramic clay.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Professor Dr. Raefa Refaat Allam praised the creative artworks produced by the students, emphasizing that such activities are an essential part of the Faculty’s mission to build a well-rounded student personality that integrates scientific knowledge, practical skills, and creativity.

She further noted that this workshop is part of the Faculty’s plan to strengthen student activities and develop diverse skills that support a comprehensive university student profile and open new horizons for creativity and innovation.
