Physiology Day Event

The Faculty of Nursing organized the Physiology Day event in line with the strategic vision of Mansoura National University aimed at developing the educational system and strengthening practice-based learning, reflecting the University’s commitment to adopting modern teaching approaches that integrate theoretical and practical aspects. The event was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, President of the University; the leadership of Professor Dr. Raefa Refaat Allam, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; and the supervision of Professor Dr. Rania Ramadan, Instructor of the Physiology course.

The event featured the presentation of innovative educational models, during which students showcased scientific explanatory models and interactive activities such as educational puzzles, in addition to designing learning mazes aimed at simplifying and enhancing understanding of the functions of various vital body systems. These included the heart and its electrical conduction system, hormones, and the processes of food digestion within the digestive system.

Students also prepared a scientific poster illustrating the importance of the urinary system and its vital functions. This took place within a positive competitive framework that highlighted the student’s role as a key partner in the educational process and contributed to developing creative thinking, innovation, and teamwork skills.

 Professor Dr. Raefa Refaat Allam stated that this event represented a distinguished model of interactive learning, as it contributed to deepening students’ scientific and applied understanding and effectively linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.

She further affirmed that the event reflects the University’s strong commitment to providing a stimulating educational environment that enhances students’ scientific and practical skills and prepares them to meet future demands in the healthcare field with excellence and creativity.
