New College Lanarkshire Delegation Visits Mansoura National University to Strengthen Cooperation in Nursing Sciences

Mansoura National University welcomed a delegation from New College Lanarkshire (Scotland) to discuss expanding academic cooperation in nursing sciences and advanced specialized nursing programs.

The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Sherif Y. Khater, President of Mansoura National University, who reaffirmed the university’s commitment to building effective international partnerships that support competency-based education, high-quality academic programs, and advanced clinical training aligned with global standards.

The visiting delegation included Ms. Hazel Martha, Director of International Relations, and Dr. Nicola Ann, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at New College Lanarkshire. Discussions focused on curriculum development, joint programs, academic exchange, and strengthening practical and simulation-based nursing education.

Prof. Dr. Raefa R. Allam, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura National University, highlighted the importance of such collaborations in developing specialized nursing programs and enhancing graduate readiness for regional and international healthcare markets.

The visit also included tours of the Faculty of Nursing’s clinical skills and simulation laboratories, reflecting the university’s strategic vision for internationalization and excellence in health education.
