The workshop was delivered by Dr. Shereen El-Tahery and introduced participants to the fundamentals of proper response to emergency situations within the school environment, such as wounds, burns, fainting, and bleeding. It also included hands-on training on safe first aid procedures to ensure rapid response and correct management of injuries.
Professor Dr. Raefa Refaat Allam affirmed that organizing this workshop comes as part of a series of community activities implemented by the Faculty of Nursing aimed at serving the local community and supporting school health. She emphasized that disseminating first aid skills among students and teachers represents a fundamental pillar in protecting lives and building sustainable health awareness.
This activity represents a continuation of the University’s efforts to activate its community role and support the transition toward a knowledge- and service-oriented university, contributing to the preparation of nursing cadres capable of performing their humanitarian and professional roles efficiently both within and beyond the university campus.
