the Faculty of Nursing received, on Wednesday, December 10, a high-level delegation from one of the German hospital groups to explore opportunities for academic and clinical cooperation and to open new pathways for training and employment.
The delegation was received by Professor Dr. Raefa Refaat Allam, Dean of the Faculty; Professor Dr. Heba Abou Bakr, Coordinator of Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Shereen El-Tahery; Dr. Amani Shehab, International Relations Coordinator at the Faculty; and Dr. Al-Zahraa Motawea, Faculty member.
The visit included an extensive tour of the Faculty of Nursing laboratories, during which the delegation reviewed the nursing skills labs, simulation labs, and women’s and child health labs. Members of the delegation expressed their admiration for the advanced level of equipment and the modern training infrastructure, which reflect Mansoura National University’s commitment to providing an educational environment that meets international standards and supports the advancement of educational quality.
During the meeting, mechanisms for enhancing international cooperation between the two sides were discussed, including clinical training programs and academic exchange, in addition to exploring employment opportunities for students and graduates of the Faculty of Nursing within the German labor market. Both sides also discussed European labor market requirements and ways to align graduates’ skills with these requirements to ensure a high level of professional readiness.
Professor Dr. Raefa Refaat Allam emphasized that openness to international cooperation represents a key pillar in developing the quality of nursing education and preparing graduates capable of global competitiveness. She noted that academic and clinical partnerships with international healthcare institutions contribute to equipping students with advanced professional skills, broadening their understanding of global healthcare systems, and enhancing their opportunities to access regional and international labor markets.
